Yes, I saw weather reports saying pretty good snow in areas of Idaho, Montana and even Wyoming.  Imagine that?  :)

About 3-4" here in town this morning (6700ft)  Should have 4-8" in the mountains.  This is good cause it will chase the elk and deer down.  Been hitting the hunting pretty hard sense the 1st and it has been to warm and nice to even see anything.  Yesterday with 2-3" of snow on the ground I chased a cagey bull for about 5 miles before I gave up.  Hell he was headed straight for Jackson when I called the ball.  Besides I was about two miles in the back country and really didn't feel like having to quarter up an elk in the woods and bring him out on a backpack.

BUT I know where that wily little bastard sleeps now and I am going after him tomorrow....should be interesting.

My "Dubois Rodeo" dog is only two and he LOVES the snow.  Goof ball can't wait to hit the door if there is a couple of inches on the ground....course he ain't been accused of being all there.  Friends of mine have a female boxer.  She is "loopie" as hell too.

yes, nice dog, personne.

Ginger, our 10 yo boxer gets so very hobbled up it worries me.  She walks it off in a few minutes and then she's able to do anything, bob, weave, box.  Still...
Her LL Bean Barn Coat came today : )  I think she likes it (it's been cold, windy, frozen snow, etc.)  and she will love it by the time winter gets here.

Here in the Pacific Northwet it's been raining.  Good weather today but in a few it'll start again.  Time to head for Arizona.  Beautiful country here but with all the rain everything rots and the vegitation gets out of control unless you keep after it all the time.
