Hey to all the Dingers!!
I just bought a Harley FX springer. It is an older springer that uses the disc brake and has the padlock type forklock. I assume its from the 80's, early 90's maybe??
Anyway, I am looking for some parts for it.
I need all the small parts to mount the stock Harley fender.
I need the fork stem.
I need the upper triple tree and all the small parts in it.
I need the headlite block (mount).
I need the parts to mount the caliper.
I need an axle.
I am gonna put this on the 67 Shovel.
Let me know if you can help me out.. Thanks!

Robin

Robin,

Send me some pics.  I might be able to help out but it would help if I can see it.

About all I need now is the neck stem, eveything else is available, but I cannot find a stem!  Most people say I have to have a machine shop make me one...  Here is a picture of the hole where it goes, but without one, I have no way to show you a pic of one!!  LOL!!  I'd use it!!!

Robin

I tried to attach 2 pics but it would only let me attach one.  Pretty much the same picture anyway..

The hole is 1 inch which is standard for most Harley stems, and the hole is 1 and a half inches deep.  I guess there has to be a lip on the bottom of it to stop it from coming on thru, or it is somehow press fitted into the hole.  I just don't know..  Then it is threaded on the upper end, but I don't know how long it should be or what the thread is on the top.. Beats me..
