Tried out this sweet 4WD pickup today.  Fully loaded S-10 LS ZR2.
Banks are closed today, so I pickup tomorrow.

Snowing big today though, stayin' in, waiting for someone to plow me driveway. : ]

I use the truck for going to the dump.  Not much else, actually.  I put less than 4k on mine last year.  This here truck I can take on the road for my j*bs.

ya, I drive ol's Grand Am for trippin'.  It's nice and gets 30 MPG highway at 70-75 mph.  And decent factory sounds.  This S-10 has a nice CD/stereo system and power everything.  I'll drive this on the trips for w*rk for a while then decide if it's worth it.  I know Cynthia likes this truck and will be happy to switch off.  (Hey, she used to switch off for that shot up "Bonnie and Clyde" S-10 I have)  lol

I've had two factory painted Blue HDs.  You know what they say, once you go black you neva go back.

Tool boxes?  no man.  I don't use the tools anymore so I don't need storage for them or materials.  Just room for my luggage, camera, bag of PPE, briefcase and one small toolbox with meters/instruments.  This will all go behind the seat.  I don't leave anything in the truck day to day.

I'm going to have to figure on how to fit my bike in there in case I want to do that.  Either kitty corner or on the tailgate with something to help support the rear.  I don't know right now.  Any ideas?

It does have a wires and a receiver for a hitch on the back.  What goes in there?

that's right, it it a truck and supposed to be dirty, I haven't washed the white truck in 2 years.

Nope, it's no motorcycle.  Not that exciting, but still it's the nicest rig I've had in a while. I had a cherry '87 Monte Carlo back around '89-'90.  Totaled it on the interstate...hydroplaned into the rails.
Doh!

yesir I luv trucks specially dem 4x4 's . Yeah I think the last time I washed my ole truck was bout 2 years ago . But I do leave it parked outside the garage so the rain helps me out quiet a bit . But the pasture mud and cow mess can get it purty nasty at times but I dont care it is mine

Hey, here I am.
I was sick and with the ol gone I still had two other vehicles, so no problem with not having the truck.  It was a trick to get it fixed as the problem never happened when it was in the shop.  Finnally, after it sat from Thursday until Monday afternoon I went down and
1) gave them a heads up about a GMC recall notice from 2004 "No Start, No Crack Condition"
2) Told them that I'd take it and drive it around and give them a call to pick it up whenever andwhere ever it crapped out again.

Well they said OK, we'll drop it off in a little while.  So, they brought it into the shop to wash up for me and the owner started to fiddle around with the ignition switch and steering column.  He finally gotit to act up when he played with the tilt wheel.  He gave me a call and said they were going to tear into that and that they'd drop off the truck tomorrow.  Well, the truck is back and I haven't had any trouble at all. I'm not sure what they found, if anything and I didn't have any access to GMC Bulletins, so I don't know what that recall notice said.

I'm cool.  And the truck has a scratch, ding or two.  I don't worry about that.  But "A truck ain't a truck until it gets stuck"
