I asked about "Regional Calendars" on a poll in the General board.  Most were in favor of it so I went to the support Ninjas and asked them about it.  Well it turns out that the original programmer (Justin) never intended the Calendar to reach the level of popularity that it has.  He is currently re-writing code to improve the calendar functions for the next release of the software.

With this version of the Software you all have a "Private Calendar".  You can post to it and you are the ONLY person who can see it.  I can't change that yet.

So for now Ya'll are going to have to do a bit extra to get an event posted for the "Public" to view.

The only folks who can post "Public" notices on the Calendar are:

Administrators
Support Staff
Wrenches

So if you want to post an event like I did with the Arizona Bike Week you will need to Private Message the event data to one of these folks.

They can then post it on the calendar.  

For the Calendar Posting Crew:  Make sure you use the "Visible To" drop down menu and select the appropriate folks.
