OK!

Picture posting just got easier!!!

Huge THANK YOU to Martin one of our "Ninjas" that runs around in the background.

Just a couple of steps now folks.

FIRST,

In order to post in the album you MUST be a member.  Once you are a member you can view the album and all the other members pictures.  You can even swipe their pictures and put them in your messages.

But the first time you "Upload" a picture (buttons are in the photo album) a "Folder" will be created using your Username.

That folder with your "Username" will be the only place you can upload a picture to.

Once the picture is uploaded it is easy to post it in a thread.

Open the photo album.

Click on the picture you want to put in the thread.

RIGHT click on the picture and then click on "Properties"

Highlight the Address (URL) line.

Return back to your message post.  If you haven't already click on "More Options" so that the full options screen is visible.

Click on the little picture Icon.

Paste the line you just copied IN BETWEEN the ["img] [\img"] (the quote marks are to show you the command line and not the dreaded red X)

At the same time while you are in the Properties menu...LOOK at the Dimensions

This is 1385 X 782 Pixels

WAY TO BIG!!!

This is 800 X 452 Pixels

Also fairly large

This is 396 X 224

About what we want to keep things neat and tidy.

Whew...I'm goen to bed

Ding here using Samma Jo's account.

Something I have noticed when you have TWO users on ONE computer.

If one of ya logs off and the other logs on and trys to go to the Photo Album they WILL get an Authentication Error.

No Sweat.  Just put the new Username in the top log in box (make sure that e-blah_pw is gone) and then delete all the asticks in the password and type in the new users password.

SHOULD let you right in on your own account.

Later
Ding (using Samma Jo's account)

See ya!

I am going to try something with respect to the photo album.

I will go in and change the board setting so that the "Automatic Log in" or "Remember me" option will be TURNED OFF unless YOU check the box.

I think that if you do individual log in, especially for multi user single computer and single user multi computer folks, the Photo Album will stop giving us "Authentication Errors".

If it works it will mean that you will have to log in to the board each time.  I figure that is easier than the alternative of dumping your Cookies, dumping Temp files, and possibly having to reboot.
